Warehouse Operations Manager

Our client is a leading Distributor and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Warehouse professional as they look to recruit a Warehouse Operations Manager at their site in Hertfordshire.

Reporting into the General Manager you will manage 100+ FTEs through a team of supervisors. Apart from the day to day operations you will be set a target to improve operational efficiencies through Continuous Improvement.

Summary:

  • Hit all KPIs by leading Direct Reports and FTEs
  • Leadership of the team to drive standards & performance
  • Manage the day to budget
  • H&S
  • Security 
  • Focus on customer service delivery 
  • Drive continuous improvement projects and actively promote operational efficiencies 

Ideal Candidate:

Proven track record in Continuous improvement & able to talk with confidence around this

Strong leadership experience in a fast moving warehouse operation

Will have worked closely with & understands transport operations

Exceptional communication skills at all levels
