with a very well established, privately owned FMCG manufacturer &
distributor who require a Stock Controller at their site in Derbyshire, working
on a Monday to Friday basis (9am-6pm).
Reporting into the
Stock Control Team Leader, this role will
have responsibility for all day to day analysis of all incoming stock into the
main Depots within the UK network of Depots.
Key Responsibilities for the role of Stock Controller:
Analyse supplier traceability manifests from all SKU
deliveries prior to arrival into depot or approved external coldstores.
All SKU Intakes to be booked onto the business MRP system
with all relevant data completed.
Management of Depot stocks to the agreed levels, reviewing
Update and manage virtual stocks and forward contracts and
present to key stakeholders.
Coordinate blast freezing and tempering of required raw
materials to meet business needs.
Liaising with Transport team in reference to vehicle
requirements each day for product to be delivered and dispatched accordingly
for external stores.
Develop and build relationships with key
stakeholders/functions/suppliers, holding them to account to support their team
Monitor supplier performance for contracted product lines.
Liaise with accounts on invoice queries to find a
Compiling data for all supplier equipment movements in and
out of the business.
Support the Supply Chain Stock Control Team Leader to drive
a can do approach and help to build a strong team ethos.
Ideal Candidate for the role of Stock
Experience in Supply Chain and a previous Stock Control / Inventory role
Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel is required.
The ideal candidate will be process focused, have effective
communication, and strong numerical skills (qualification in maths, ideally A
level as a minimum requirement).
Confident in the use of an MRP/ERP system.
Excellent communication skills when dealing with individuals at
different levels in the business
