to assist their Sales team in designing warehousing and fulfilment solutions to accommodate new

Magna Park. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be
required to calculate operational productivities and equipment requirements in
order to generate new project costings. Moreover, you will work closely with
both Sales and Operations to provide the most innovative and cost competitive
pricing in Tender documents.
Working with the Business
Development team to respond to RFQ’s from new business customers
Attend internal and
external customer meetings to understand the customer requirements and
translate them into a process design which can be presented back to the wider
Design the receiving,
picking, packing and despatch processes and calculating productivity targets
Ensure that solutions use
innovative thinking to provide the most competitive costings
Work closely with IT and
operations to support the solution design
Develop a costing /
pricing model to ensure all project costs are captured and be able to present
back to the wider operations, commercial and sales teams
Using relevant software
to design new warehousing solutions
Providing the sales team
with required layout and prices documentation to support RFP submissions
Attend internal and
external customer meetings as the Solutions expert and be able to
professionally sell the designed solution
European travel may be
required less than 20% of the time to support projects within the wider
Support the operations
teams with process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
Attending Conferences and
Events to keep up to date with latest industry trends
Accountable for ensuring
any new initiatives or projects are implemented and achieved in accordance

The Ideal Candidate:
Warehouse Fulfilment &
Supply Chain solutions experience
6 Sigma Green Belt or above
Ideally Prince 2 Practitioner
- 2 years’ experience in a Solutions Design
- Outstanding verbal, written, presentation and communication
- Warehouse Management Systems & processes.
- Knowledge of warehouse automation and MHE
Strong knowledge in E-
Exposure to implementing
new systems and processes of work.
An understanding of
IT skills, including AutoCAD, Visio, Advanced
Microsoft / Excel / PowerPoint
Ability to use a costing / pricing model
Demonstrable Improvement & Innovation ideas
