assist them in their search for a Transport Manager at their site in West Yorkshire.
into the Operations Manager, with 90 Drivers and fleet of 110 Units, you will be
expected to control all costs
relating to the transport department, ensuring at all times that costs remain
within budget, whilst ensuring that department works within the legal frame of
transport legislation. From a busy Transport background, you will look to
provide leadership and motivation to your team, which in turn facilitates
achievement of KPI targets.
Responsibilities as Transport Manager:
To manage all direct
reports on a daily basis ensuring they have the required skills and knowledge,
give guidance, leadership and motivation as required.

The Ideal Candidate
for this Transport Manager role:
- Previous Transport Management
experience in a busy FMCG operation
- Possess excellent communication
skills, both written and verbal.
