Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor and delivers to over 10,000 customers nationwide. We are delighted to assist them in their search for a Stock & Inventory Planner, to be based out of their RDC in Bristol.

 

Reporting in to the Replenishment Manager, you will be expected to to manage the replenishment activity within their categories to ensure maximum availability and drive Service Excellence to both internal and External customers. Maintaining stock levels within given targets and minimising company stock loss.

               

Key responsibilities as Inventory Planner:

         To ensure maximum availability of product at the point of order, whilst achieving stock level targets.

  • To maximise all commercial opportunities within the given categories, and seek out additional opportunities to deliver the stock income budget.
  • To liaise with the Goods in admin team to ensure that all Goods in is managed in line with depot requirements and the ever changing priorities of the business.
  • To manage all seasonal activity relating to the categories, along with any mobilisations, exits, or change to National Account business.

         To minimise any stock loss within the portfolio of products

As Inventory Planner:

         From a similar FMCG Environment

         The ability to manage day to day tasks alongside longer term objectives

         Good knowledge of Reflex Replenishment functionality

         Good PC skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word

         Strong Influencing skills both internally and externally

         Effective communicator

         Highly organised

         Can work successfully as part of a larger team, but self-motivated as well
