Our client is a leading & expanding niche retailer in the UK, and we are delighted to assist in their search for a Warehouse FLMs at their NDC in the Surrey area, on a permanent night shift.

 

Shift based duties will include managing staff who are picking stock, preparing orders for despatch, receiving and storing shipments from suppliers and working efficiently within a team to ensure the warehouse standards are maintained at all times.

 

Key Responsibilities:

         Manage a team of up to 30 people on a daily basis

         Acting as role model to inspire your team to deliver individualized world class service at all times

         Enabling the full potential of your team and individual team members by continuous coaching and tailored development

         Working as a key management team member to ensure the smooth daily running of all departments to outstanding operational standards

         Role modelling and applying behaviours as set out in company values

         Works with colleagues to make best use of resources redeploying as appropriate

         Helps team to understand business needs and targets, such as individual department and CDC targets

         Remains professional even in times of stress or conflict and is open to feedback from others

         To lead, motivate and develop direct reports to create a high performing team

         Enable effective team working with peers & seniors

         Potential of further growth within the organisation through self-development

 

The ideal Candidate:

  • From a similar Warehousing background, you will have supervisory experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent People management skills, which will enable you to develop and motivate your team.
  • Superb communication skills, target driven and highly motivated
  • The ability to motivate and inspire people to achieve
  • The ability to challenge the norm and support & enable change for the better
