Regional General Manager 3PL
Slough & Surrey

Our client is a major 3PL and due to their superb growth and an increase in volume, we are delighted to assist them in their search for a Regional General Manager to oversee their multiple customer sites around the Slough & Surrey areas. Your role will be to help drive the business forwards. Reporting into the M.D, this Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing all sites operations across warehouse, transport and service excellence and to play a key role in the delivery of change and growth to the operation.


As Regional General Manager, you will have primary accountability for maximising sales and profit targets, as well as optimizing costs, processes and efficiencies to enable the delivery of the depots business targets. You will be the go-to person for all internal and external staff, customers and suppliers.


A challenging, rewarding an exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for:


         Managing all depots management teams across Warehouse, Transport and Customer Service to drive operational efficiencies and productivity in order to deliver an excellent service to customers and meet site KPIs

         All Budget and P&L related management activities

         Overseeing all legal regulations and company standards to ensure they are adhered to at all times to ensure the compliance of the depot.

         Managing all aspects of purchasing, stock management and control to achieve agreed targets

         Driving process improvement across the site to ensure a culture of continuous improvement


From a similar fast paced Operation, you will have successfully managed and led Warehouse & Transport operations across multiple sites. Commercially astute, you will have a sharp eye for optimization of costs as well as a track record in customer service. Well versed in the management of all core Operational and Logistics KPIs, you will be passionate about Customer Service and the delivery of excellent service.


We are looking for someone who is capable of understanding where the business is able to grow, put strategic plans in place and then execute them accordingly to provide sustained growth in both volumes and revenue.
