Warehouse Shift Manager

Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor in the UK and we are delighted to assist them in their search for a Warehouse Shift Manager at their site in Derbyshire, on a 3 on, 3 off shift basis (6am 6pm).

 

Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you will be expected to manage the day to day running of the shift to achieve Site KPIs.

 

Key Responsibilities as Warehouse Shift Manager:

 

  • To direct, control and monitor all FTEs on shift (c15), to ensure the completion of all daily functions fully, safely and accurately, and to spread the work out evenly through the depot and co-ordinate with the Stock Office.
  • On shift basis, direct, monitor and control all staff in the performance of their allocated functions. Ensure that targets and standards are achieved and procedures followed.
  • Complete all clerical functions/records required by the operation such as all receipts and despatches finalised during the shift. Rotas/cleaning schedules/stock checks/probe checks.
  • Ensure all functions of the operation run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and control the use of MHE equipment to ensure the proper and necessary care and attention is applied when using them. Report all defects and damage to higher management. Report on the usage and abuse to avoid over use of MHE and potential accidents.

 

From a similar FMCG environment, you will possess excellent People Management skills who is able to lead, motivate and develop teams to achieve results and site KPIs.
