Strive Supply Chain are delighted to be representing our client, a logistics & distribution organization with a national network of facilities in their search for a superb Planning Coordinator for their production and distribution facility in Cambridgeshire, close to Ely area. A very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic site and operation on behalf of a prestigious customer base, the role will be carried out predominantly during day based midweek hours – though with flexibility is required during peak periods. The planning coordinator will:

• Provide first contact for the site planning and resource function, reporting directly to the site planning manager and interfacing within multiple internal and external stakeholders, to include Warehouse, Order Assembly and Production departments, Customer contacts, Materials Suppliers, Agency Suppliers for temporary colleague headcount. 
  

• Bring exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, able to further provide generalist support as per demands the business, all within a dynamic customer driven environment, working towards agreed standards and KPI’s. A confident user of IT. 
  

• Coordinate required resource, understanding work flow, liaising effectively with internal and external customers alike to ensure optimum site productivity is achieved, able to provide consistently high levels of customer service delivery within an often pressurized environment, always within a safe and compliant environment.
  

• Ideally from a fast paced customer focused environment, perhaps production, manufacturing, warehousing or logistics background, though it is generalist experience and communication skills which will be essential to your application.
